Different isn't always better

But better is always different. This is such a tricky fallacy. I see many apps being redesigned. A fresh new look. Progress. Is it?

A fresh coat of paint. You start to wonder if we aren’t mainly just keeping ourselves busy. If you ask a painter, your house could use a fresh coat every year. But does it really? Does anyone but the painter think so? Does anyone but the painter and you care? Is the coat of paint really what you should focus on or should you build that useful new shed, in your backyard?
